Mu-Min Shih received his PhD degree in Taiwan Literature from the University of Texas in Austin. He is currently an adjunct assistant professor at the National Taiwan Normal University as well as the Providence University in Taiwan. His academic interests include literary theories, gender study and Taiwanese literature and scripts. His first two books, The 1990s Gender Progressives in Taiwan and An Emancipation Called Taiwanese, are going to be published in September, 2021 in Taiwan.
