Yayu Zheng is currently working as the Asymmetry Postdoctoral Fellow at The Courtauld Institute of Art. She holds a Ph.D. in Cinema and Media Studies from the University of Southern California. Her research interests include: transnational cinema, East Asian cultural studies, queer studies (generally conceived), film festival studies, and Sinophone visual culture. Alongside her academic career, she also works as a film producer.
