Wei-Ting Liou is an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Taiwanese Literature at National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan. He received his MA and PhD from the Department of English, Royal Holloway, University of London. Liou’s research and teaching interests include translation studies, Taiwanese American literature, posthumanism, and postcolonial theory. Dr Liou’s current work focuses on the English-language writings of the second-generation Taiwanese American writers and the translated Chinese version by some of these Taiwanese American authors. His recent publications deal with work by Emily X. R. Pan, Shawna Yang Ryan, Syaman Rapongan, etc.
