Jennifer Marie Nunes

Jenn Marie Nunes is a writer, translator, and scholar finishing up her PhD in Chinese Literature at OSU. Author of three books of poetry and translator of the forthcoming English edition of Taiwanese poet Yen Ai-lin’s visceral collection Bone Skin Flesh 《骨皮肉》(Balestier Press 2025), Nunes’ is the recipient of numerous awards, grants, and fellowships for her work. Her current research, partly supported by a Fulbright-Hays, focuses on the poetry of migrant worker women in Taiwan and China and considers how their poetry does something through the circulation of affect and the formation of community.
